In May 2023, Qian Shiyun was selected as an exhibitor for the China Pavilion at the 18th Venice Biennale of Architecture, with the project FOODIE SOCIAL in Ruihong Tiandi.

The project "Lishui Two-Three House Distillery" was nominated for the Construction Award of Rural Futures Award, China's first sustainable rural construction award, in February 2023.

Shiyun Qian, together with Eugenio Mangi, Andrea Palmioli led the Vertical Design Studio (VDS) at The Department of Architecture and Built Environment,  Universtiy of Nottingham Ningbo (UNNC), through joint initiatives and collaborations with the Undergraduate Thesis Project module led by Su Yimin - 苏弋旻 from the Department of Environmental Art at the China Academy of Art (CAA).
